What is the purpose of our REVOLUTION campaign?
The purpose is to see God’s kingdom grow as we continue to move towards God’s vision for His church. In the process, we will experience personal spiritual growth and a more passionate relationship with Him. The reality is that our vision of reaching those who are far from God and leading them into a passionate relationship with Jesus can be best accomplished if we had our own worship and ministry facility. We hope God will provide enough capital through this campaign for us to be able to begin construction in two years.
How will the money be used?
All the money given in our REVOLUTION campaign over the next two years will go towards the construction of the building and paying off the remaining balance of our land. We are in the process of selling the back 48 acres of our land in order to pay off the balance of our land debt. This will allow us to have approximately 48 acres of land to create an incredible ministry campus.
Can you tell me more about the building?
We hope to have drawings completed within the next year to answer this more completely. Our desire is to have a multi-purpose worship center that seats 500, a creative children and preschool area, a youth room, office space and a large foyer for connecting with others. We also hope to have a café area for people to gather and connect before and after service, as well as some type of kitchen area for events and banquets.
Can you tell me more about the personal commitment process?
A personal and family commitment is a statement of intention and an expression of generosity and faith. The commitment that you will make is determined by God speaking to you through His Spirit. On March 28, 2010, during our Sunday morning worship service, our church was given an opportunity to lead their family to the altar and place their two-year commitment and first fruit offering before God.
Will I be able to revise my commitment if my circumstances change within the next two years?
Absolutely! As God moves in the lives of His people, financial circumstances may change during any two-year period. Commitments can be increased or decreased as God reveals. If your first fruit commitment changes, please let our church administrator know by calling the church office. We will be making financial decisions based on what is expected to come in over this entire campaign.
Can I give online?
Yes! This is the best way to help keep your commitment. Visit this Link to Give. You can set up a regular recurring gift, or make a one-time gift. You can also use our online giving to give your tithe to the general ministry fund.
